About the Role
ADEAREST is looking for an experienced Project Engineer with strong technical knowledge of industrial refrigeration or MEP construction. The role supports the successful delivery of projects by coordinating engineering activities, resolving technical issues, monitoring quality and progress, and ensuring compliance with approved specifications, budgets, schedules, and industry standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, site teams, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and develop detailed project plans in coordination with the Project Manager, Project Supervisor, Project Coordinator, and Project Planning Engineer.
- Build, organize, and manage site teams according to project requirements and approved work programmes.
- Provide technical support for industrial refrigeration and MEP installation activities.
- Attend site coordination, progress, and technical meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Prepare bi-weekly progress reports covering completed activities, pending works, risks, delays, and required actions.
- Coordinate directly with clients to resolve routine project matters and escalate major concerns to the Project Manager.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, technical submissions, and project documents to support site execution.
- Identify design discrepancies, site constraints, and technical issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Coordinate engineering activities such as surveys, inspections, testing, commissioning support, and quality verification.
- Review designs, specifications, shop drawings, and technical documents for compliance with project requirements.
- Support material procurement and ensure proposed materials meet specifications, quality requirements, budgets, and delivery schedules.
- Implement quality-control measures and ensure work is completed according to approved standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, drawings, reports, inspection documents, and project correspondence.
- Assist in schedule development, progress tracking, milestone monitoring, and recovery planning where required.
- Support project cost control through estimation input, expense monitoring, and value-engineering recommendations.
- Conduct and support risk assessments and ensure compliance with applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
- Promote a safe, responsible, and quality-focused working culture across the project team.
