BIM MEP Modeler

About the Role

ADEAREST is looking for a BIM MEP Modeler to develop accurate and coordinated models for industrial refrigeration and MEP projects. The role requires a strong understanding of refrigeration systems, equipment, piping, materials, construction details, and applicable BIM standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and project teams to produce coordinated models, drawings, schedules, BOMs, BOQs, fabrication details, installation information, and project-handover documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate BIM models based on industrial refrigeration and MEP system requirements.
• Apply knowledge of refrigeration systems, equipment, piping, and materials to ensure model accuracy and completeness.
• Follow the company BIM strategy, including naming conventions, measurement systems, coordinate systems, project parameters, and shared parameters.
• Coordinate design activities according to required Levels of Development and Levels of Detail.
• Define project deliverables and the formats in which information is produced, exchanged, and submitted.
• Implement project standards through Revit templates, AutoCAD menus, Dynamo tools, and approved BIM workflows.
• Ensure all project drawings, models, schedules, and documents are completed according to specifications and agreed timelines.
• Input approved technical information for specified materials and equipment into BIM models.
• Conduct clash detection and coordinate design conflicts with engineers and other disciplines.
• Develop piping layouts, material-handling arrangements, and equipment coordination models.
• Prepare subassembly-fabrication details, packaging information, installation details, and construction schedules.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and Bills of Quantities from coordinated BIM models.
• Support the engineering department in preparing project-handover documents in accordance with PAS 1192-3 and project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and other disciplines to apply proper standards and improve coordination.
• Carry out other related BIM, drafting, and documentation activities assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
